East Kent Badger Group is a volunteer group dedicated to the conservation and protection of badgers in East Kent. Whether you’ve spotted an injured badger, want to report a crime, or simply care about wildlife, we’re here to help
What do we do?
Rescue & Advice
We provide free, confidential advice on all badger-related problems, from garden nuisances to serious incidents of cruelty or persecution.
Education & Outreach
We run talks and community events across East Kent, raising awareness of badger welfare and the importance of conservation.
Habitat Protection
We work with farmers, landowners and planning authorities to protect badger setts and habitats from disturbance and development.
Monitoring & Research
Our volunteers monitor local badger populations across Tenterden, New Romney, Faversham, Dover and Canterbury.
